Supporting positive impact across the globe
As we continue to grow our international community, our Accelerator Programme empowers members to build successful and meaningful impact. We know that our educational partners value the opportunity to build their knowledge of the Skills Builder approach in their context. The Accelerator and Accelerator + programmes offer sessions that encourage educators to share and learn together, building knowledge and impact on a global scale!
Meaningful training and support to build essential skills
The Accelerator programmes for global educators support members to develop a complete strategy for achieving excellence in building essential skills by creating a sustainable, long term plan. The programme also provides an opportunity to receive training that empowers, builds a team of confident teachers and achieves measurable student progress.
The key knowledge developed so far
This year’s schools, colleges and training centres have already benefited from Skills Leader training sessions.
This has included:
- Support for Skills Leaders to understand the importance of essential skills for their students' professional and personal lives.
- Clear, actionable training on assessing and teaching essential skills in a systematic way using the Universal Framework.
- Support for Skills Leaders to develop clear plans to increase the impact of their teaching, using the 6 principles of best practice.
- Training to upskill teachers and staff, including how to best use our online resources and assessment tools.
