KPMG China believe that KPMG should use their skills and resources to empower change and make a difference for their people, clients and community. In 2010, KPMG School Mission programme was launched to support the construction of Hope Primary Schools in rural area of China and offer voluntary teaching through annual mission trips. As part of this programme, KPMG volunteers develop and deliver 8 workshops to raise students’ awareness of 8 essential skills.

The extra-curricular workshops are delivered as one off sessions lasting 40-60 minutes. The course design includes basic concepts, interactive activities, interesting stories, etc. to help students have a better understanding. KPMG's volunteers delivered the course online and the school teachers supported offline.
