This in-person workshop being held at London Luton Airport gives local Luton students the opportunity to practise the key essential skills needed for a career, whilst also having the opportunity to speak with airport employees and find out about their career pathways and what advice they may have on how to get into a career in aviation.

All eight essential skills are included within the session resources, this includes the students workbook and teaching materials. Throughout the workshop, students have the opportunity to practise and apply their essential skills through interactions with volunteers, skills tasks set by the airport and a final presentation of their learning.

At the start and end of the workshop there is an opportunity for reflection, so that students can reflect on the essential skills and the ones that they have been practising as part of the workshop.
