Mi Voz is a transformative program designed to empower secondary school seniors from vulnerable backgrounds by enhancing their self-knowledge and public speaking skills. Through workshops on Essential skills and 14 weekly 1-1 mentoring sessions with inspiring professionals, students engage in a journey of personal and communicative growth. To conclude, each mentee delivers a self-designed, inspirational talk with mentor’s guidance at a Final Event open to the community. Constant support, feedback and evaluation are provided by the programme team for mentees, mentors and schools.

Mi Voz supports the development of listening and speaking skills through workshops as well as mentoring sessions, and the presentation of a talk at a final event. Mentees are also provided with spaces for reflection on their skills development and importance before, during and after the programme. All the activities are designed to progress on their skills level by making it a conscious and reflective process.
