My Learning, My Future is a suite of Benchmark 4 resources to support subject teaching staff, from 27 subjects at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Post-16, to engage students in curriculum learning by highlighting the relevance of their subjects to future careers, opportunities and pathways.

The aim of the resources is for students to see the relevance and value of subject curriculum teaching and learning and to be explicitly supported in making connections between subjects and pathways to positive transitions, including the amplification of vocational and technical qualifications. The resources are designed to be used easily by curriculum subject staff through lessons, homework and/or extra-curricular sessions. The PowerPoint slide deck contains a range of activities for students to explore the relevance of each subject to their future.

There are 27 guides for subject teachers and one guide for the careers leader which  provides key information the teacher needs to know regarding knowledge, skills and pathways. there is a CPD deck for Careers leaders to use with teaching staff to build confidence in using the resources. Each subject has a 'plug in and play' slide deck which enables students to learn, explore and apply the activities in practical situations to help them make informed decisions about their best next steps.

There is a section in each guide and slide deck on the 8 essential skills, including opportunity to specifically reflect on the skills and steps that are relevant for their subject. It also includes links for staff to find out more.
