SATRO provides this structures workshop entitled 'The Sports Arena Challenge', whereby secondary student teams (recommended up to 6 members) design and model Sports Arenas to house multiple sports at a major games. There is a hypothetical project cost to be estimated and plans for the Arena use after the Games are made.  

Students act as Architects, Engineers and Accountants and take responsibility for parts of the project.  The students prepare a short presentation to summarise their work.

It is run by a SATRO STEM Tutor and supported by industry volunteers where appropriate.

Students are introduced to the relevant Skills Builder skills at the start of the workshop. E.g., Speaking, Problem Solving, Creativity, Teamwork, Staying Positive, Aiming High. The Essential Skills are then assessed at the end using clikapads.
