An innovative 12-week online gaming project designed to help young people with Special Educational Needs (SEND), aged 13-18, develop Teamwork and life skills in a fun environment. During the preparation phase, young people and their parents/carers will participate in workshops covering topics such as online safety and healthy gaming. The young people will then play Valheim, a Viking-themed online game facilitated by mentors, to promote cooperation, problem-solving, and personal growth.

The programme tracks progress in Teamwork using the Skills Builder Benchmarking Tool, completed before and after the programme. Weekly workshops and facilitated sessions target specific Teamwork steps, such as supporting teammates and resolving conflicts during game challenges. Reflection activities after each session encourage participants to assess their skills against the Skills Builder Universal Framework and identify improvements.
