Try Time works with vulnerable young children who are at risk of exclusion to build the skills and support they need to be able to reintegrate the classroom environment.
The programme aims to help these young people become positive about learning and education by making them aware of their strengths, capabilities and aspirations. Giving them the tools they need to be able to succeed in education and in life.
Try Time includes all eight essential skills, but specifically focuses on speaking, listening and aiming high. The Skills Builder language and icons are consistently used and learners are encouraged to reflect on their skills and learning at the end of each session.
