The programme empowers underserved women through vocational training in tailoring and entrepreneurship, enabling them to achieve financial independence and support their families. Our training modules include mastering tailoring techniques, understanding business basics, and developing essential skills such as problem-solving and communication. Trainees also participate in community projects, such as producing uniforms for vulnerable children, to foster social responsibility. Each cohort receives ongoing support, including start-up kits and mentoring to ensure their success. With a focus on sustainability, we are introducing eco-friendly initiatives like reusable pad production to address environmental challenges while creating additional income opportunities.
At Stitch2Educate, we integrate essential skills development into each session of our program. Essential skills icons are included in all training materials, such as workbooks and instructional guides, and referenced during sessions. Trainees practice skills like problem-solving and teamwork by working through real-world tasks, such as sewing projects and community initiatives. Weekly reflection questions help trainees evaluate their progress in applying these skills, while trainers provide feedback to ensure consistent improvement.
