Yamba Mweno is a community programme to create awareness about carbon emissions and to teach members of the community how to decompose organic manure to promote agriculture and supporting orphans.

The Project empowers the local community members facing social disadvantage by opening up the range of job opportunities through essential skills. The project gives them better and more diversified jobs, as well as stabilising income sources and improving social standing. At a collective level, the essential skills development in emerging markets supports local communities’ prosperity and reduces inequalities. Participants are encouraged to explore each of the essential skills and consider how these can be utilised to support community action projects. Workshops are delivered by the Yamba Mweno team and focus on developing individual essential skills.
